The 2026 Academic Year
The academic year 2026 in full — every reporting date, examination, league, competition, ceremony and holiday for the Junior, Preparatory and Senior Schools. The Gallian year runs in three terms from the middle of March to the eighth of December, when the college rises for the long winter vacation and the Murree Hills return to the snow.
Winter Camp opens the year in January for outgoing Board and Cambridge candidates. The session proper begins on 19 March, when promoted classes of all three schools report and new admissions arrive through the following week. Term 1 closes with the First Term Examination from 13 May; Term 2 runs through the summer to Founders’ Day on 26 September; Term 3 carries the Annual Examination from 27 November.

Leave & Exeat Policy
Lawrence College is a full-boarding school. Students are expected to remain in residence throughout the term. Exeat weekends are granted at specified dates; any leave outside these dates requires written application to the Housemaster at least one week in advance.
