Our Heritage
Lawrence College was established in 1860 in memory of Brigadier General Sir Henry Montgomery Lawrence — Soldier, Statesman and Philanthropist — raised with a major contribution from his family to provide quality education to the sons of British and Indian soldiers serving in the subcontinent.
Today the college educates approximately 700 students across three schools — Junior, Preparatory and Senior — each with its own Headmaster and its own ground on the hillside.

All three schools met on the ground on 30 July for athletics, tug of war, march past and martial arts, with Old Gallian Maj Gen (Retd) Irfan Khan HI(M) as Chief Guest.

The Prefectorial Board 2026–27 took the oath of office at Hamid Hall on 16 July, with Muhammad Usman of Peake House as Head Boy, opening a new chapter of student leadership at Lawrence College.
