Admission 2027 — Classes I to VIII

Lawrence College invites applications for Class I (fresh admission) and Classes II to VIII, as seats are available and including the GCE O-Level stream, for the academic session commencing March 2027. There are no reserved seats and no quota of any category: admission is strictly on merit.
The written test is held at Lawrence College, Ghora Gali, Murree and at the Lahore and Karachi centres — the latter two subject to sufficient applications for each. It covers English, Mathematics and Urdu for Classes I to VII, with Science added for Class VIII and O-Level applicants; the syllabus outlines are set out below.
How to apply. Either complete the college's online application, or download the admission form, attach the following and send it by courier to the Principal so that it arrives before 12 November 2026:
- a copy of the candidate's NADRA Form-B or NICOP;
- four passport-size photographs;
- the latest copy of the school record or result;
- the deposit slip for the Rs. 5,000 test fee, which is non-refundable.
The fee is deposited in favour of Principal Lawrence College Admission, HBL account 0042‑79921537‑03.
The signed form is posted to the College. Apply online, print the completed form, sign it, and post or courier it with photocopies of the documents — not the originals — to The Admissions Office, Lawrence College, Ghora Gali, Murree, Punjab 47150, to arrive by the closing date. The form prints with a dispatch checklist naming everything that goes in the envelope, and an address label to cut out. Scholarship Programme — Session 2027

Lawrence College offers merit-based and need-based scholarships to outstanding candidates from across Pakistan. The scholarship programme is designed to ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent a deserving boy from attending Lawrence College. Applicants must demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need. Applications are submitted alongside the admission application, and awards are announced with the admission results in December.
Syllabus Outlines for the Admission Test
The entrance test is set from the syllabus of the class below the one applied for. Classes I–VIII are tested in English, Urdu and Mathematics, with General Science added at Class VIII. Class XI is tested across five papers. Choose the class your son is applying for.

Entry to First Year is tested across five papers. Each paper carries 50 marks and runs for one hour. The four science and mathematics papers are set from the Punjab Textbook Board syllabus, weighted 40% Class IX and 60% Class X.

Admissions — Junior School (Class 1 to Class 4)

Lawrence College Junior School received applications for classes 1 through 4 for Session 2026. Boys aged 5 to 10 years were eligible to apply. Admission was subject to an age-appropriate assessment and an interview with the Headmistress of the Junior School. The session opened on 19 March 2026; new admissions reported between 23 and 26 March. Casual vacancies, where they arise, are filled in March — enquiries may be directed to the Admissions Office.
Admissions — Preparatory School (Class 5 to Class 7)

Applications were invited for the Preparatory School for Session 2026. Boys between the ages of 10 and 14 years were eligible. Entry was through a written examination in English, Mathematics and General Knowledge held in November 2025, followed by an interview with the Headmaster. Results were declared in December 2025; the session opened on 19 March 2026 and new admissions reported between 23 and 26 March.
Admissions — Senior School (O-Level / SSC)

Lawrence College Senior School received applications for the O-Level (Cambridge) and SSC streams for Session 2026. Boys completing Class 7 at Lawrence College Preparatory School were given first preference for entry to the Senior School, which begins at Class 8. External applicants sat the November 2025 entrance examination and were required to meet the minimum academic threshold. A medical certificate of fitness is required for all new boarders.
