The Head Boy — A Gallian Tradition
The Head Boy of Lawrence College is the most senior student leader — elected from the final year of Senior School and appointed by the Principal. The position carries significant responsibility: the Head Boy represents the student body at formal occasions, serves as a bridge between students and staff, and embodies the Gallian values of leadership, integrity and service.
Many Head Boys have gone on to distinguished careers in the Armed Forces, civil service, politics, medicine, law and business — carrying the Gallian spirit into every field of national life.

Peake House
Academic Year 2026–27
Muhammad Usman, of Peake House, is the current Head Boy of Lawrence College — the latest in a recorded line of 65 Head Boys reaching back to Pakistan’s independence in 1947. He was sworn in at Hamid Hall on 16 July 2026, when the Vice-Principal and Headmaster of the Senior School administered the oath of office before he led the Prefectorial Board 2026–27 in their pledge.
As the most senior student in the college he leads the Prefectorial Board and represents the Gallian values of Never Give In, setting an example in academics, sport and the daily life of the boarding community. Read about the Investiture →
