Prep School had the privilege of hosting the students and staff of the Special Education Centre, Jheeka Gali, on 9 July 2026, for a memorable day dedicated to inclusion, friendship, and shared learning.
The guests were warmly welcomed by the Prep School during a special morning assembly held in the honour of Abdul Sattar Edhi and Special Education Centre. Students and staff extended a heartfelt reception, creating an atmosphere of respect, care, and celebration from the very beginning of the visit.
Following the assembly, the visiting students enthusiastically participated in a variety of engaging activities, including sprints, computer activities, poster-making, art, and music. Throughout the day, the Prep School Gallians accompanied, supported, and guided the visiting students at every venue, fostering meaningful interaction, teamwork, and mutual understanding.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony in Junior School, where certificates, prizes, and tokens of love were presented to the participants by Brig Jawad Ahmed Zaka, SI(M) (Retd), Principal, Lawrence College Murree. Addressing the gathering, the Principal appreciated the efforts of the Special Education Centre and highlighted the importance of compassion, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all members of society. He commended the enthusiasm displayed by both the visiting students and the Gallians of Prep School, emphasizing that such interactions strengthen the values of empathy, respect, and community service.
The visit proved to be a truly enriching experience for everyone involved. Filled with fun, learning, creativity, and friendship, the day reinforced the spirit of inclusion and demonstrated how meaningful engagement can build confidence, break barriers, and create lasting memories. Prep School remains committed to promoting an inclusive environment where every individual is valued, respected, and encouraged to thrive.
