A spirit of pride, commitment, and promise filled Hamid Hall on 16 July 2026 as the Prefectorial Board 2026–27 took the oath of office in a dignified ceremony, marking the beginning of a new chapter of student leadership at Lawrence College.
The members of the Prefectorial Board were selected through a rigorous process that considered their academic excellence, co-curricular accomplishments, exemplary conduct, and performance in personal interviews with the Principal. Their appointment reflects the confidence reposed in them to uphold the cherished traditions and values of the institution.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Huzaifa of Class XII, followed by its eloquent translation by Siraj-ul-Rehman, also of Class XII. The proceedings were conducted with poise and confidence by Aliyan Azmat of Class XI.
The Vice-Principal and Headmaster Senior School, Mr. Arshad Iqbal Chaudhry, formally announced the names of the newly appointed prefects. He then administered the oath to the Head Boy, Muhammad Usman (Peake House), who subsequently led the members of the Prefectorial Board in taking the solemn pledge to discharge their responsibilities with honesty, discipline, and unwavering dedication.
