On the 150th Anniversary, October 2010, Old Gallians in gratitude to the college and its staff, presented their alma mater with a permanent memorial, a high accuracy clock mounted in a clock tower, with provision for a time capsule buried in the base gallery. The tower was constructed with stone reclaimed from demolished old servants quarters and blends in perfectly with the main building of the Senior School, in front of which it stands. The electronically controlled clocks strikes the Westminster Chimes quarterly, muted at night, and is also programmed to ring the bell for all the school functions.
