We Rise by Lifting Others
There is nothing in being superior to your fellow men, true nobility is being superior to your former self through professional and personal grooming. Professional and personal training is the hallmark of LCGG and it’s worthy to mention here that under the patronage of our Principal, for the first time, an exclusive and extensive training program was conducted for PTIs, Matrons & Admin Staff. Constant supervision of DOS Uzma Afzal, Games Master Maj Shafqat Mahmood and efforts of all Senior teachers who contributed as trainers are really praiseworthy.
This training covered a variety of skills and topics like: Spoken English, IT skills, History lectures, Character development, Ethical and Moral values, Discipline and Sports, Khudi by Iqbal and exploring important aspects of Quaid’s life.
The training spread over the span of 58 days, the best use of pandemic situation. The training culminated with the presentations of participants, certificate distribution ceremony and a scrumptious tea on 8th of September, 2020.
We strongly believe that the participants with constant practice will apply the learnt skills in their professional life for better performance.
Faculty, Admin Staff, Matrons’ & PTIs’ Training Programme (24th of February to 07th of March, 2020)
Lawrence College is precisely focused on high quality professional growth of its faculty through extensive on-the-job training to enhance and enrich professional standards for better academic output of our students in all the three schools.
It’s a two-fold training programme in which external and internal trainers are invited to guide the faculty members of Junior, Prep and Senior Schools. It’s an utmost desire of the Principal to equip the faculty with the latest and student-centred pedagogical methods, strategies and techniques, so that the faculty may fully activate the potential of the students and the Gallians may not only excel in academics, but also in character and conduct.
This year also, from 24th of February to 07th of March, the faculty members of the three Schools attended the workshops by external and internal trainers on a wide range of topics. The teachers learned a lot from the resource persons. Almost all the workshops were interactive in their nature and were held with a pragmatic approach.
